Women Empower

OVERVIEW

Women Empower, known nationally as Women Build, is a fundraising and volunteer program that celebrates the power of women coming together to build affordable homes and stronger communities. Women of all backgrounds and skill levels are invited to raise funds, roll up their sleeves, and get hands-on at the build site alongside Habitat families and fellow volunteers.

Participants gain construction skills, develop meaningful connections, and become part of a growing movement that recognizes women as a driving force in affordable housing. Since its Canadian launch in 2001, Women Build has helped complete more than 90 homes across the country.
