BUILDING HOPE AND COMMUNITY
A Build Day offers a unique opportunity to build staff or group morale through team work and giving back. Teams of 8-20 people work at our Habitat houses, or ReStores on tasks ranging from building furniture with reclaimed wood, to landscaping, fencing, yard work, painting and more. Regardless of skill level, we always have jobs so that everyone can contribute.
An investment in a Habitat Team Build Day is an investment in your people, your community, and your corporate brand providing a high level of employee engagement, connection to the cause, and a lasting impact on our community.
Sponsorship amounts range based on duration and group size, however there are reduced donation requirements for smaller groups, associations, schools, and other non-profits.
Sponsorship benefits include a mention on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), the use of the Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver logo on external company websites and socials (with permission after Full Day builds), and the celebration of your impact in our newsletters, reports, and external communications.
What to expect:
All construction materials and gear are provided including hard hats, steel toed boots, gloves, tools, rain gear, painting smocks, etc.
Shifts are usually 9:30 am - 3pm (Flexible/Half day options available too) and include coffee, snacks, lunch, t-shirts and a team photo.
