There are many ways to get involved, whether you want to join us at community events, support ReStores, or help behind the scenes. Some roles are one-time opportunities, while others are ongoing. No matter how you choose to volunteer, your time and skills will help more families find safe, affordable housing.

Find the volunteer role that’s right for you

ReStore Volunteer

As a ReStore volunteer, you can help with:

  • Customer service and cashiering

  • Merchandising and organizing the floor

  • Repairing and testing items (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, cabinet makers, forklift drivers)

  • Donation pickups with our truck team (drivers and crew)

    (Minimum of 16 hours must be completed each month)

We have four ReStore locations: Abbotsford, Burnaby, Chilliwack, and Langley.

Habitat Ambassador

Join our team of event ambassadors to:

  • Represent Habitat at community events

  • Support fundraising activities

  • Sell 50/50 raffle tickets

  • Help raise awareness about affordable housing in Greater Vancouver
